These earrings are handmade by a coppersmith in Florida. The design is screen printed onto a copper sheet, which is then cut and embellished into the final product. The design is protected by as many as four acrylic layers. The hooks are surgical steel. The earrings are very lightweight. They require no polishing but the maker says to keep them away from chemicals such as perfume and hairspray.
